Job Title: Senior Data Quality Engineer Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Engineer to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable data quality solutions across our data platforms. This role will work closely with data engineers, scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and reliability that support critical business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data quality validation frameworks and automation pipelines across Azure, Databricks, SQL, and MongoDB environments. Define and monitor data quality KPIs, policies, and rules across structured and unstructured data sources. Build and maintain scalable data quality monitoring tools and dashboards across BI platforms like Power BI , Tableau , and SSRS . Work with data engineers and architects to embed quality checks into ETL/ELT pipelines and Data Lakehouse architectures. Perform data profiling, anomaly detection , and in-depth root cause analysis for identified data issues. Develop and maintain metadata and data lineage documentation using governance and catalog tools. Collaborate with data stewards and business teams to implement data ownership and stewardship practices . Support data SLA enforcement and ensure alignment with reporting, compliance, and business processes. Research, evaluate, and integrate modern data quality tools and technologies to improve scalability and automation. Assist with audit readiness and ensure all data flows and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data engineering , data quality , or data governance roles. Strong experience with data quality frameworks , data validation scripts, and automation tools. Proven hands-on expertise in Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake), Databricks , and SQL-based systems . Experience on any of the data cataloging tools like Purview , Collibra . Experience with Power BI , Tableau , or SSRS for reporting and data visualization. Familiarity with metadata management , data lineage , and profiling tools . Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term fixes. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. Prior experience in building reusable data quality components and CI/CD integration is a plus. Nice to Have: Experience in real estate domain with strong data compliance requirements. Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React/Angular). Extensive experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions. Hands-on experience with SSIS for developing ETL processes. Familiarity with SSRS for report generation. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to mentor junior developers and foster a positive team environment.
