Sr. Test Engineer

• Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and automation frameworks
• The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating automation solutions with ServiceNow and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our applications
• This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall success of our projects

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Integrate automation solutions with ServiceNow to streamline testing processes
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and develop test strategies
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in Java programming language
• Strong experience with Selenium for web application automation
• Hands on experience in integrating automation frameworks with ServiceNow
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Ability to write clear and maintainable code

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in software testing and automation
• Proven track record of successful automation projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
