The AP Analyst will be responsible for supporting daily Logistics and Accounting processes in a global, public, manufacturing company. This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Responsibilities: The AP Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receive, review, and validate all freight invoices against the UEI Rate Guide Identify and document discrepancies between invoices and rate guide expectations Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Logistics, Accounting, Procurement) and external vendors to resolve invoice-related issues in a timely manner Analyze invoices for optimal account coding using the UEI Chart of Accounts Accurately enter approved invoices into the Oracle system Reconcile carrier statements to AP balances and resolve any outstanding items or discrepancies Assist in the preparation of Month End Freight Accrual Assist the Suppliers team in onboarding new Carriers Maintain records of all transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies Proactively recommend process improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities through analysis Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and data accuracy Maintain professional customer service (both internal and external customers) Qualification/Skills: B.Com / M.Com or MBA in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment Technical understanding of ERP systems, Excel, and Word.
