Sr. Petrophysicist

As a professional in the field of Exploration & Production located in Navi Mumbai, your primary responsibilities will include designing the Scope of Work for Logging Services, evaluating Expressions of Interest (EOI) and Technical Bids, conducting real-time log monitoring with a focus on quality assurance and quality control, and managing log data conditions. You will also be tasked with handling Log Data Analysis Software, selecting side wall core, formation tester pretest, and sample depths, as well as processing and analyzing Advanced Logs such as Sonic Waveform, Image, NMR, etc. Your role will involve Petrophysical Evaluation to provide average reservoir parameters at the well for Geological model building and resource estimation. You will also be responsible for identifying Petrophysical facies by integrating log data, Image data, Core (RCA and SCAL) data for static geological model, and Integrated subsurface description (ISD). Additionally, you will be expected to evaluate Unconventional Reservoirs, raise Purchase Requests (PRs) and verify Invoices, evaluate Casing & Cement Bond logs, and ensure adherence to Log Data compliance while maintaining quality control of Vendor Deliverables. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Masters degree in Geophysics or Geology from a recognized university and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Exploration & Production. Your technical abilities should be very strong, particularly in Integrated formation evaluation and petrophysical Interpretation. It is essential that you possess detailed knowledge of the principles and applications of different types of logs to excel in this role.
