Sr. NOC Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network systems, servers, and telecommunications infrastructure 24/7 to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve network incidents and service interruptions promptly.
• Escalate complex technical issues to Tier II/III support teams or relevant departments as needed.
• Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and health checks.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Follow and contribute to the improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support the configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of network devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in network or system monitoring, or IT support roles.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Experience using network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Familiarity with SLA adherence and incident management frameworks.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
