Job Description:

Identifying and developing vendor sources for achieving cost effective purchases.
Identifying and follow domestic & international buyers for respective product lines, coordinate buyer demands and finally procurement of orders.
Managing sourcing operations; finalizing orders, with suppliers and customers through discussions and negotiations with top management.
Formulating efficient supply chain management system / purchase policy and ensuring delivery of the goods as per committed timelines and cost.
Analyzing latest marketing trends, tracking competitors activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning sales & marketing strategies.
Creating range development and executing sampling by understanding future trends.
Establishing relationship with buyers and dealing with vendor / production sources for profitable product merchandising.
Maintaining the track for design and implementation of reporting procedures to enhance customer-satisfaction ratings.
Following-up on orders from the time they are placed by the buyers till their final deliver as per time & quality standards committed to the clients.
Developing marketing plans to build consumer preference and drive volumes; evaluating marketing budgets periodically including manpower planning initiatives and ensuring adherence to planned expenses.
Conducting various training programs for the all staff members for effective selling and target achievement.

Candidate Profile:

Should have good knowledge of merchandising, planning, seasonal planning, Inventory control, budgeting, and analysis a product mix.
Excellent in handling merchandising activities in major category of Ethnic Wears, Home Decor & Home Furnishing.
Establishing relationship with buyers and dealing with manufacturer for profitable product merchandising.
Years of experience in the development of global sourcing strategies, vendor identification, product & vendor development, team management & analytical Skills.
Should to be well spoken, well presented, must be organized. Should have good communication skills, both oral and written.

Education:

UG: B.Des/ Textile Design Graduates
PG: M.Des / Not Compulsory
