• Manage strategic or tactical purchasing activities, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving & Logistics.
• Review or update supply chain practices by new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
• Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
• Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
• Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
• Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Design, implement, or oversee product take-back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed of.
• Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products.
• Develop an appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.

• Ensure the optimal level of inventory, client service, and precision in Business Planning
• Prepare market trends analysis in collaboration with the Brands Managers, the Regional Planning, and Supply Planning Teams and develop the most accurate forecast plan by Brand
• Manage and control inventory levels and reduce excess
• Ensure consistent implementation of delivery against marketing calendars
• Evaluate, report, and manage service level issues up to and including Senior Management
• Warehousing and Distribution

Preferred candidate profile

• Work Experience of 20 Years and a minimum 10-15 years of working on EXPORTS / IMPORTS / PURCHASE
• Thorough knowledge of Inventory, Purchase, Logistics, liaising with customs, and knowledge on various IMPORT EXPORT LIASONING
• Good ERP / SAP MM Module
• Good Hiring skills and being able to train people on the PROCESS attitude
• Good presentation skills, Reporting, Daily MIS and MRM
• Mandatory to be Proficient in MS Office i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Should be able to communicate via email and other modes desired from time to time as required.
