Sr. Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Technician specializing in plastic injection molding machines, your primary responsibility will be to perform both preventive and breakdown maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. You will be expected to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in the machines, such as the toggle/clamp system, barrel/heater bands, and robotics. Your goal will be to minimize downtime and maximize machine availability by ensuring efficient maintenance practices. In addition to maintenance tasks, you will also be responsible for maintaining documentation related to the machines, including machine history, spares inventory, and maintenance logs. Collaborating with production and quality teams will be essential for effective maintenance planning. Furthermore, you will need to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and TPM/5S practices during all maintenance activities. Continuous improvement will be a key focus in this role, where you will be expected to identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance and energy efficiency and implement relevant solutions. Your knowledge of various injection molding machines, such as Arburg, Haitian, and Toshiba, will be crucial, along with experience in working with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and basic electrical systems. As a qualified candidate, you should possess problem-solving skills and be proficient in root cause analysis. Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques will also be beneficial. A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required for this position, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in plastic injection molding maintenance. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and food provided. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the role also offers a yearly bonus.
