Job Description

Co-ordinate and supervise the Civil &Structural engineering aspects of the project to ensure the technicalobjectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule.
Supervise, oversee and coordinate timelytechnical reviews of Civil & Structural engineering related deliverablesdeveloped by engineering consultant/vendors and ensure design optimisation incompliance with relevant codes and best practices.
Contribute towards project planning &schedules.
Play key role in exploring various designoptions, concept design and selection.
Identify the data requirements, data gaps,various technical studies required for the project from Civil, structural andfoundation design point of view.
Prepare scope of work, BOQ/MTO, man hourestimates for detail engineering & EPC contracts.
Coordinate and perform technical reviews andrate analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation stages.
Carry out interface coordination withEngineering disciplines as well as construction contractors.
Ensure design optimisation, technical integrityand quality.
Provide technical guidance required to developnew specifications and update existing specifications in line with projectrequirements.
Checking and reviewing 3D model, throughSPR/other model reviewer to make it clash- free.
Supervise and coordinate discipline engineer#sparticipation in layout reviews, design reviews and technical workshops.
Preparation of engineering deliverables bycarrying out analysis and design calculations using appropriate software.
Mentoring and supervision of Senior and JuniorCivil Engineers
Visit site to review and monitor siteconstruction activities, ensure mechanism is in place for meeting constructionquality; resolve site engineering issues and work with the Construction Managerto expedite the site works.

Education Requirement :

Engineering Degree in Civil

Experience Requirement :

Minimum 15 years years of experience in engineering andexecution experience in Hydrocarbon/ other heavy industries
Exposure to construction of civil &structural works at site is must for at-least 2 years.
Experience in design offoundations and structures
Should have worked in Lead # Civil & Structural role for at-least 5 years

Skills & Competencies :

Familiarity with working in 3D environment andProficiency in StaadPro software
Proficient in technical bid analysis
Project planning and schedule analysis
Proficient in rate analysis
Technical analysis for various design options
Proficient in understanding the scope of worksand subsequently assist in estimation of budgets and man-hour requirement forassigned projects.
Technical competence and awareness of codes,standards of general civil underground works so as to coordinate and resolvetechnical issues during course of the project.
Knowledge of QMS.
Team player and has good communication and presentationskills.
