Sr. Java Developer

You will play a key role as a Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, focusing on backend services for enterprise applications within the banking or financial services domain. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborating with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product teams will be essential to deliver high-quality solutions. It will be your duty to ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, and performance. Working closely with clients to comprehend business requirements and effectively implement them is crucial. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during both development and deployment phases. Active participation in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and project planning meetings is expected. Flexibility to travel to client locations when necessary based on project needs is also required. Your profile should include a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development. Proficiency in Spring Boot and related technologies such as Spring MVC and JPA is essential. A strong background in the banking or financial domain is mandatory. You should possess a good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems. Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and JIRA is preferred. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills are highly valued. Experience in Agile/Scrum teams is a plus, as well as exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
