Adobe Design, the global experience design group with over 750 employees, is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead design efforts for Adobe Illustrator, a key product in the Creative Cloud business. The team works on market-leading products in digital publishing, vector graphics, imaging, video, and more. The role involves contributing to the development of the industry-leading graphic design tool that empowers creatives to design anything they can imagine. As a Senior Design Manager at Adobe, you will collaborate with and lead a team of talented designers to design and craft experiences for Adobe Illustrator. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background and experience in leading design teams. The role requires partnering with Product, Research, Engineering, and Marketing to define key objectives and impactful features, fostering a creative environment, and leading a team of designers to deliver innovative experiences. Successful candidates will have over 10 years of experience in the product design industry, with a proven track record of launching products that delight users. Additionally, they should have at least 5 years of people management and leadership experience, including hiring, training, and developing designers of varying experience levels. The ability to champion customer-centricity, accessibility, and inclusion, as well as strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, are essential for this role.
