Job Description: 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, integrity, security, and performance required by business systems. SQL Server Installation, good troubleshooting skills, Performance tuning (Table Partitioning). Experience in using tools like SQL Profiler, Performance Optimization, Extended Events, DMVs, Activity Monitor etc. Experience in Troubleshooting of High CPU, High memory, Slow IO and Deadlocks. Should have experience in Log shipping, Mirroring, Always on High Availability, Security and access control. Maintenance of back-ups recovery policies/procedures. Creation and maintenance of SQL queries and routines required for Administration, monitoring of DBs etc. Applying patches and perform DB Migrations in production environment as required. Reviewing and Tuning T-SQL Queries.
