Job Description

We're Hiring: Specialist Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI)

Location

Shift: US and UK shift

About the Role

Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Review
inpatient records
concurrently using
EHR systems
(e.g., Epic, Iodine).
Identify documentation gaps and generate
compliant, patient-specific queries
.
Apply in-depth knowledge of
ICD-10-CM/PCS
,
DRG classification
, and coding guidelines.
Maintain detailed logs of documentation reviews, query status, and follow-ups.
Meet productivity and quality benchmarks as per CDI program goals.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in
Life Sciences
or equivalent Mandatory
16 years
of experience in
medical coding or CDI
, preferably in
acute care
or
RCM
settings.
Strong knowledge of
ICD-10
,
DRG grouping
, and query best practices.
Excellent communication, analytical, and clinical interpretation skills.
Certification (CCDS/CDIP, AHIMA, or AAPC) – Preferred but not mandatory
Mandatory Rotational shift cab will be provided.
