Job Title: PROCURMENT/SOURCING EXECUTIVE Department: Procurement Reports To: Head - Purchase Job Summary: Will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) spare parts for the automotive aftermarket. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier networks, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and availability. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard authorized distributors and OEM suppliers for genuine spare parts. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms. Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing, MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize profitability. Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive procurement. ERP & Data Management: Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to process orders, track shipments, and maintain supplier records. Generate procurement reports and analyze supplier performance using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Quality Assurance & Compliance: Verify authenticity and quality of spare parts to prevent counterfeit products. Ensure compliance with OEM standards and industry regulations. Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics providers to optimize shipping costs and delivery timelines. Resolve any supply chain disruptions (delays, customs issues, etc.). Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 3+ years in procurement/purchasing within automotive spare parts trading , preferably dealing with genuine/OEM parts . Familiarity with OEM supply chains, authorized distributors, and aftermarket parts sourcing. Negotiation & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to negotiate with suppliers and analyze pricing trends. Experience in cost benchmarking and supplier performance evaluation. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive parts (e.g., engine components, electrical parts, braking systems). Ability to read part catalogs, VIN decoders, or OEM databases is a plus. ERP & Excel Proficiency: Experience with procurement modules in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent communication skills for supplier and internal stakeholder coordination. Ability to troubleshoot supply issues and find alternative sourcing solutions. Work Environment: Office-based with occasional supplier visits or industry events. Will involve coordination with international suppliers across different time zones.
