Role & responsibilities: Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations for SolidWorks, 3DEXPERIENCE CAD, CAM, and DraftSight solutions to prospective clients, focusing on their specific engineering and manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs, develop customized solutions, and support the presales process through technical expertise. Engage with customers to understand & identify pain points in their product development lifecycle and position SolidWorks Suite of Solutions effectively. Create customer-specific product content to better convey our solution capabilities and customer benefits. Provide technical training and workshops to customers and internal teams to enhance product understanding and adoption. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to provide insightful advice to customers. Participate in industry events, seminars, and conferences to showcase product capabilities and generate leads. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and identifying opportunities for solution expansion. Monitor , report & update presales activities to DS & internal team and being updated about competitive tools & solutions Preferred candidate profile: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline. 4 to 7 years of experience in a presales, solution specialist, or technical consulting role, preferably within CAD/CAM/CAE domains. Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, 3DEXPERIENCE CAD, CAM software, and DraftSight, with a strong understanding of product design and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of simulation tools and product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions is added advantage. Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits for customers. Manage multiple customer engagements and deliverables. Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
