Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: 1. SOLIDWORKS CAD Support: Assist in installation, configuration, and user training for SOLIDWORKS. Provide first-level technical support to end users on modelling, drafting, and best practices. Collaborate with design teams to understand CAD usage patterns and improvement areas. Participate in DFMA, modelling standardization, and CAD automation initiatives. 2. SOLIDWORKS PDM Responsibilities: Support users in PDM tasks such as check-in/check-out, workflow transitions, and revision management. Assist in configuring data cards, templates, and workflows as per project requirements. Do the server validation and check the system requirements and suggest the IT hardware to customer for effective usage of SOLIDWORKS products. Perform tests and validations for PDM upgrades, replication, and client setups. Document SOPs and PDM user guides and Technical Manuals to standardize usage. 3. 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Adoption: Support customer onboarding and user training for the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Help teams map engineering and business workflows into the platform. Troubleshoot platform-related issues and escalate critical cases to seniors. Conduct regular follow-ups with users to improve adoption and efficiency. 4. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of support tickets, resolutions, and user feedback. Assist in creating training material and step-by-step guides for common processes. 5. Continuous Learning & Development: Stay current with updates in SOLIDWORKS, PDM, and 3DEXPERIENCE tools. Participate in certification programs and internal learning sessions. Contribute to internal knowledge bases and improvement initiatives Preferred candidate profile: Educational Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (2023/2024 pass out preferred). Technical Skills: Exposure to SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD (academic or internship level acceptable). Basic understanding of PDM systems or version control concepts. Awareness of PLM concepts and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is advantageous. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment. Team player with a customer-centric mindset. Bonus (Nice to Have): Certifications in SOLIDWORKS or 3DEXPERIENCE. Academic projects or internships involving CAD/PDM/PLM tools.
