Solution Architect - OpenStack

As an experienced Cloud and Infrastructure Architect, your primary role will involve architecting and designing OpenStack-based private cloud solutions that are customized to meet the specific needs of our customers. You will be responsible for driving infrastructure design considerations across compute, storage, and network components, ensuring seamless integration with existing platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in defining and implementing best practices for cloud infrastructure, including high availability (HA), scalability, and performance tuning. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly DevOps, will be essential to align infrastructure automation with deployment pipelines. Additionally, your role will involve leading customer engagements, where you will play a key part in translating business requirements into technical architectures. Ensuring compliance, security, and resiliency standards are ingrained in all solutions will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in cloud and infrastructure architecture. Your proficiency in OpenStack components such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, and Swift will be crucial for success. Moreover, deep domain expertise in at least one of the following areas - Cloud Infrastructure, Storage, or Networking - will be highly valued. Proficiency in container technologies and orchestration, with knowledge of tools like Ansible, Terraform, and automation frameworks, will be beneficial. Familiarity with Linux internals, scripting, and system performance monitoring are also desirable skills.
