Job description Role: Solar Energy Project Layout Specialist. Responsibilities: Develop Ground mount solar energy project array layouts utilizing AutoCAD software. Collaborate with site engineers to assess site input details for array layout preparation. Conduct shadow analysis to identify obstructions on the plot. Design stringing/cable routing, earthing, lightning, and equipment layouts. Estimate bill of quantities for array layouts. Ensure timely submission of accurate and optimized designs. Prepare GFC/As-built drawings for ongoing and completed projects. Coordinate with site teams to address issues and concerns on-site. Experience: Proficient in distributed solar energy array layout preparation using AutoCAD software. Familiarity with technical aspects of electrical equipment in solar projects to achieve optimal solutions. Education Qualifications / Additional Certifications: Preferably ITI Draughtsman or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 5 to 10 years of successful experience in design. Key Skills: Understanding solar modules, inverters, Ground mounted, and cables. Proficiency in various layout preparation and optimization techniques. Implementation of best practices in layout preparation. Competence in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and related software.
