Software Engineering Manager, ETS

This role requires an individual with exceptional knowledge of distributed systems and a deep understanding of complex system architectures and possess a track record of managing highly scalable, low-latency platforms as services.. This position demands not only technical proficiency but also a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving outstanding results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.The candidate will lead a team of highly qualified software engineers, managing highly scalable platforms, through the design and development process which deals in Petabyte of data and millions of transactions per hour. In this role, you will interact with many cross functional teams and stakeholders in understanding the requirements and also evangelizing the platform. Minimum 10 years of experience in design and development of highly scalable distributed systems Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in building, developing and leading engineering teams Experience in developing highly scalable distributed systems. Experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL language. Experience with NoSQL databases like Couchbase, Redis, MongoDB, etc. Knowledge of Unix / Linux. Should be self motivated, must be able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment in the absence of complete information. Good leadership and project management skills. Good oral/written communication skills. Should be able to work with various cross functional teams to build and deliver a project. Preferred Qualifications Experience with service integration Sync/ASync using REST/SOAP over HTTP/gRPC is a plus Experience with actor systems like Akka is a plus. Experience working on integration platforms like Apache Camel, Apache NiFi, MuleSoft is a plus. Experience with contributing to Apache open source projects is a plus. Programming in Python, Lua and GO Lang is a Plus
