Software Engineer - SAP EAM

Position Summary:

As a Software Engineer specializing in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), you will play a crucial role in Maersk's Finance & Tax platform. You'll lead engagement with fleet and warehouse management, as well as procure-to-pay platform teams, to translate business visions into actionable roadmaps. This role involves end-to-end delivery of EAM solutions on optimal technical platforms, aligned with Maersk's enterprise strategy, and contributing to the continuous optimization of EAM processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Build:

  Work closely with Solution Architects and Senior Engineers for the design and build phases within the SAP EAM area.

• Agile Development:

  Collaborate effectively with development teams in an Agile environment, owning user stories for configuration and development processes.

• System Configuration & Deployment:

  Configure, design, build, test, and deploy core SAP S/4HANA EAM/Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) and SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) solutions to ensure seamless functionality.

• Process Optimization:

  Provide innovative ideas to optimize end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EAM/SSAM and Plant Maintenance related processes for Maersk entities.

• Testing & Quality Assurance:

  Help create and execute test scripts for EAM products, ensuring solution quality.

• Delivery & Support:

  Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned user stories to production, including providing support during the hypercare phase.

• Troubleshooting & Problem Management:

  Troubleshoot incidents and perform problem management for SAP S/4HANA EAM and SSAM applications.

• Platform & Agile Practices:

  Contribute to developing robust platform and Agile practices across Maersk Technology.

• Business Engagement:

  Partner with fleet and warehouse business teams to understand requirements and translate their vision into technical solutions and roadmaps.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Overall Experience:

  At least 7 years of overall experience in SAP.

• SAP EAM Expertise:

  At least 5 years of experience specifically as an SAP EAM expert.

• Project Implementation:

  Proven experience in implementing large and complex SAP Projects, ideally in an EAM lead role.

• Domain Knowledge:

  In-depth domain knowledge in asset management processes and the SAP EAM module.

• S/4HANA Experience:

  Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation is mandatory.

• Module Proficiency:

  Experience in SAP EAM, SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), SAP Materials Management (MM), and integration experience with SAP FICO.

• Business Requirement Translation:

  Experience working with EAM business process/activity owners to understand business requirements and translate them into solution designs.

• Project Methodologies:

  Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery models.

• Communication & Problem Solving:

  Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Operations or an IT-related discipline.

• Collaborative Mindset:

  A strong collaborative mindset for working effectively across business functions.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Certification in S/4HANA Asset Management or S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement.
• Experience in data migration of EAM/PM objects.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics.
• Experience in large and complex Programs.
