The team responsible for cloud-connected full-stack solutions at ResMed works on developing, maintaining, and enhancing technologies that support sleep diagnostics and workflow automation. Collaboration with internal platform teams, third-party device manufacturers, and cloud service providers ensures smooth integration and data synchronization. As a member of this team, you will contribute to various web-based and backend systems crucial to ResMed's patient care ecosystem. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, React, and JavaScript. - Create secure, maintainable RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components. - Write clean, modular, and reusable code following software engineering best practices. - Develop and optimize queries and schemas for MySQL databases, including complex joins and transaction handling. - Participate in agile practices like sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value iteratively. - Debug issues across the stack and contribute to architectural design discussions. - Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. - Contribute to documentation and share knowledge within the team. - Identify opportunities for improvement through automation and adoption of modern technologies. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent industry experience. - 5-6 years of experience in full-stack development using Node.js and React. - Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), REST APIs, HTTP, and web architecture. - Hands-on experience with MySQL, version control tools, and debugging techniques. - Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with TypeScript, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services. - Familiarity with state management tools, testing frameworks, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
