- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand software requirements, especially related to accounting functionality. - Design and execute manual and automated test cases for accounting features (e.g., journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, balance sheet and other financial reports). - Perform end-to-end testing for accounting workflows and ensure compliance with financial standards. - Validate accuracy of financial calculations, reconciliations, and data integrity in reports. - Log defects, track issues, and verify fixes through regression testing. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and quality standards. - Support UAT and assist users in testing accounting modules. - Analyse test results and communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams. Job Requirement - 4+ years of experience in QA/testing with web or desktop applications. - Strong knowledge of accounting concepts such as double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliation. - Experience testing accounting or ERP systems. (It will be good if he know any accounting software like Tally) - Proficient in manual testing; (exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar is a plus) - Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Should have skill to trained to new joiners and should have capability to give to demo to clients in case it is required.
