Job Title: Social Media & Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern who can assist in managing and growing our brand’s digital presence. You will work closely with the business development and marketing teams to execute campaigns across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Email.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to engage audiences, create basic visual content, and manage messaging automation tools effectively. You will gain hands-on experience in digital outreach, audience targeting, content scheduling, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Assist in managing company pages on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Schedule and post regular content using tools like Meta Business Suite or Buffer.
• Coordinate with the design team or use Canva to create posts, stories, and basic promotional graphics.
• Research hashtags, trends, and engagement tactics to increase reach and visibility.

WhatsApp Marketing

• Handle customer outreach using WhatsApp Business or WhatsApp API-based tools.
• Create and broadcast messages to segmented contact lists as per campaigns.
• Monitor responses and forward leads or queries to relevant internal departments.

Email Marketing

• Build and update email contact databases.
• Design and send newsletters or campaign-based emails using tools like Mailchimp or Sendinblue.
• Track open rates, click rates, and conversions.
• A/B test subject lines and content strategies.

Content Coordination

• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm campaign ideas.
• Assist in writing basic post captions, marketing copy, and engagement prompts.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery and alignment with promotions.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track daily and weekly metrics from social, WhatsApp, and email tools.
• Share performance reports using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Suggest improvements based on engagement and campaign data.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Canva, Google Docs/Sheets, and social media platforms.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp, Sendinblue, WhatsApp automation tools, or similar software (preferred).
• Strong communication and copywriting skills.
• Well-organized and capable of meeting deadlines independently.
• Must own a laptop and have a stable internet connection.
