As a Social Commerce Producer, you will be responsible for executing social-first publishing strategies, creating platform-specific content, and enhancing the visibility of deals on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and more. Your role will involve shaping the audience's experience with high-value deals, turning them into engaging, community-driven moments. Collaboration with U.S. East Coast-based teams is essential for real-time publishing and cross-functional coordination, requiring flexibility in sync hours and shared planning. It is crucial to note that this role mandates the creation of original, human-generated content, prohibiting the use of any form of generative artificial intelligence, as per company policy. **What You'll Do:** **Social Commerce Execution** - Publish daily shopping and deals content across various platforms for CNET Deals, PCMag Deals, and Mashable Deals. - Develop a consistent publishing calendar aligned with commerce editorial priorities and seasonal shopping cycles. - Craft platform-native post copy and headlines that engage audiences and drive clicks. - Transform deals content into various social formats like static posts, threads, carousels, Stories, etc. - Manage community-forward activations such as polls to enhance positive engagement. - Maintain a unique social voice tailored to each brand while emphasizing commerce focus. **Platform Growth & Community Impact** - Enhance engagement rates, impressions, referrals, and follower counts across key platforms. - Utilize platform analytics to refine publishing strategies, test variations, and track performance data. - Identify trends in social shopping behavior and explore creative experimentation opportunities. - Support audience development through strategic posting and real-time engagement. **Cross-Team Collaboration & Support** - Collaborate with the CNET commerce editorial team and audience strategists to optimize top deals" performance. - Engage with global teams across different time zones, including editorial, social, and commerce stakeholders. - Curate deals content for potential syndication opportunities and coordinate with various CNET Group departments for content planning. **Job Requirements:** - Remote, India-based role with collaboration across global time zones. - Candidates should be proficient in collaborating with U.S.-based team members. **How We'll Determine Success:** - Growth in social follower base, engagement rate, and brand awareness. - Increased conversions from social content. - Establishing clear brand strength for CNET, PCMag, and Mashable Deals across social feeds. - Developing repeatable playbooks and achieving performance wins in social commerce strategy. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-5+ years of experience in managing professional social accounts, particularly in commerce, editorial, or media. - Strong copywriting skills with a focus on hooks, value propositions, and call-to-actions. - Familiarity with publishing tools, analytics platforms, and CMS. - Knowledge of internet and platform culture, especially in the tech shopping and deal discovery space. - Additional background in affiliate marketing, production or editing experience for social content, and tailoring content for various social commerce integrations is advantageous.
