Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Analyst located in Ahmedabad. We are seeking motivated and technically skilled individuals to join our IT team in supporting the implementation of a new Accounting Module within our existing ERP system. This role requires a blend of technical acumen (Python, Java, Power BI), understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, ERP vendors, and internal stakeholders. The initial focus will be to support the transition from our legacy accounting software to the new ERP-integrated module, ensuring a smooth migration, proper data handling, reporting readiness, and ongoing user support. Over time, you will be assigned additional responsibilities including data analytics, business process automation, and development of tools to support operations across departments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to understand current workflows and support the transition to the new ERP accounting module. Work with ERP vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth data migration, module configuration, testing, and training. Provide first-line technical support for ERP accounting functionalities post-implementation. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support financial and operational decision-making. Automate routine accounting and data reconciliation processes using Python/Java where applicable. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing business requirements and developing scalable IT solutions. Document workflows, SOPs, data flows, and user manuals for internal use. Train end-users and provide ongoing support as new features and tools are deployed. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field. Working knowledge of accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, etc.). Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python or Java .
