Inspect materials delivered to the site for quality and compliance. Monitor construction for compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Assist in preparing schedules and progress reports. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and coordinate solutions. Ensure that all work is completed within budget and on schedule. Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of overseas turnkey projects , with a strong focus on site erection, commissioning, and client coordination . The ideal candidate should possess solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing capital equipment installation projects, preferably in the rolling mill or heavy engineering sector . Key Responsibilities Lead complete project lifecycle management for international assignments — from initiation through site execution and commissioning. Coordinate closely with internal departments (Design, Purchase, Marketing, Logistics) for resource planning and delivery. Handle all technical communication with clients and stakeholders during all phases of the project. Manage and monitor project schedules, documentation, master registries, and status reports. Ensure all erection and commissioning activities are executed in compliance with engineering standards and client expectations. Conduct weekly internal review meetings and project status updates with clients and senior management. Organize pre-dispatch inspections (PDI) and ensure timely shipment of deliverables. Drive SAP updates and project documentation workflows. Lead on-site teams, contractors, and third parties for safe and efficient project execution abroad. Candidate Requirements Experience: 5–8 years of project management experience in heavy machinery or capital equipment. Minimum 4 years of technical experience in Rolling Mill Projects (Hot, Long, or Flat Products). Must have 1+ year of on-site erection and commissioning experience (mandatory for diploma holders). Education: Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical or relevant field) + 6 years of domain experience. B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical/Electrical or allied fields) + minimum 4 years of relevant project experience. Additional: Willingness to travel abroad for extended durations. Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
