Hiring, Position: Inspection & Quality Manager Experience: 10 to 15 years Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage all quality assurance and inspection activities across the machine shop and shop floor. - Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards. - Oversee in-process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry regulations. - Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. - Manage a team of quality inspectors and provide training on quality tools and techniques. - Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and audit findings to senior management. - Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily operations of our shop floor and machine shop . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in machining processes, team leadership, production planning, and lean manufacturing practices. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all shop floor activities, including CNC machining, lathe operations, milling, grinding, and assembly. Ensure daily production targets and delivery schedules are met. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce downtime. Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and other continuous improvement practices. Plan and allocate manpower effectively across shifts. Monitor machine utilization and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team. Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Track production KPIs like OEE, productivity, rejection rate, and cycle time. Coordinate with the Quality, Purchase, Design, and Maintenance teams for smooth workflow. Train and develop shop floor supervisors and operators. Requirements: 10 to 30 years of hands-on experience in a machine shop environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes like turning, milling, boring, drilling, grinding, and welding. Experience in managing CNC and conventional machine operations. Job Title: Production Manager Silo Industry Department: Production/Operations Location: Palwal, Haryana Reports to: Plant Head / General Manager Job Summary: The Production Manager will oversee the entire production process for silo manufacturing, ensuring efficient operations, quality control, and timely delivery of products. This includes managing manpower, coordinating with design and procurement teams, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and control production schedules to ensure timely delivery of silo systems. Manage day-to-day production operations including fabrication, assembly, welding, and surface finishing. Supervise and lead a team of production supervisors, technicians, and shop floor workers. Monitor production outputs, reduce wastage, and optimize resource utilization. Coordinate with the design/engineering team for product drawings, BOMs, and modifications. Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits. Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to avoid production downtime. Liaise with supply chain and procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials (e.g., steel sheets, fasteners, coatings). Track KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, cost control, and report performance to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) Handle customer inspections, audits, and site coordination for turnkey projects. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably with experience in silo or heavy steel fabrication industry. Proven leadership and people management skills. Strong understanding of welding, sheet metal fabrication, structural assembly, and surface treatment processes. Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools. Good knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Experience: Experience in silo fabrication (grain silos, cement silos, industrial storage systems). Exposure to field installation and erection activities. Understanding of ASME/API standards (if applicable).
