Shift Incharge Nursing

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care & Safety:

• Monitor the delivery of patient care to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Address any urgent clinical or patient-related issues promptly.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety measures are strictly followed.

2. Staff Supervision & Coordination:

• Allocate and supervise nursing staff during the shift.
• Conduct shift briefings, assign duties, and manage breaks.
• Provide support and guidance to junior staff and trainees.
• Ensure adequate nurse-to-patient ratios.

3. Shift Handover & Communication:

• Conduct effective handovers between shifts, ensuring accurate communication of patient conditions and unit status.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication among the healthcare team.
• Liaise with doctors, allied health professionals, and support services.

4. Emergency Response:

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in code situations (Code Blue, etc.).
• Lead the nursing team in critical situations, ensuring proper roles and timely interventions.

5. Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate shift reports, patient records, and incident reports.
• Ensure stock levels of medicines, equipment, and consumables are adequate.
• Report equipment malfunctions or shortages to the relevant department.

6. Compliance & Training:

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and legal regulations.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training programs.
• Support orientation and training of new staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
