ServiceNow Engineer - ITOM

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.

- Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and user-friendly ITOM applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.

- Lead technical design sessions, drive architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.

- Create detailed technical design documentation, including process flows, data models, and integration blueprints.

- Develop and maintain integration strategies using ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other tools.

- Collaborate with developers, testers, and administrators to ensure seamless delivery and deployment of ITOM solutions.

- Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to build team capabilities.

- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure solution stability and performance.

- Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Continuously evaluate emerging ServiceNow ITOM capabilities and industry best practices to recommend improvements.

Professional & Technical Skills :

- Proven track record in application design and implementation on the ServiceNow platform.

- Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes and best practices.

- Proficiency in business process modeling and translating business requirements into

technical designs.

- Experience with ServiceNow integration methods (Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server configuration).

- Ability to design intuitive, user-centric interfaces using Service Portal and UI/UX best practices.

- Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript used within the ServiceNow

platform.

- Familiarity with configuration management databases (CMDB) and IT infrastructure concepts.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
