Job Description

As a ServiceNow Developer specializing in Order Management for Telecom Module, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a specific focus on the Order Management for Telecom (OMT) module. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and various cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements effectively. Your tasks will include developing ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and custom applications tailored to meet the specific needs of telecom order management. It will be essential to configure and customize Order Management modules to ensure smooth handling of product orders, service requests, and provisioning workflows. Another crucial aspect of your role will involve integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems, OSS/BSS platforms, and legacy systems commonly utilized in telecom environments. You will also be responsible for providing support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect fixing, and performance tuning for order management processes. To excel in this role, you must adhere to Agile delivery practices and actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives. Compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and ITSM best practices is of utmost importance to ensure the overall quality and security of the solutions developed. Required Skills: - Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform. - Demonstrated proficiency in ServiceNow Order Management for Telecom (OMT) module. - Familiarity with ServiceNow CSM (Customer Service Management) and/or ITSM would be advantageous. - Strong command over JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow Flow Designer, and Service Portal. - Comprehensive knowledge of the telecom domain, specifically pertaining to Order-to-Activation processes, Product Catalogs, Service Requests, and Fulfillment. - Ability to create technical documentation, design documents, and deployment guides. - Prior experience in working within Agile/DevOps environments is preferred.
