Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven, results-oriented

SEO Manager

to lead SEO strategy and execution for our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in technical and programmatic SEO and a strong understanding of performance metrics. While prior team management experience is a plus, the role will require taking ownership of client deliverables, mentoring junior SEO team members, and driving measurable growth in organic performance.

Key Responsibilities

1.

SEO Strategy & Implementation

Develop and implement end-to-end SEO strategies tailored to diverse client goals.
Optimize websites across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO pillars.
Utilize programmatic SEO approaches to scale content and improve discoverability.
Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates and incorporate best practices into ongoing strategies.

Execution & Team Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, design, tech) to implement SEO best practices.
Support, guide, and mentor junior SEO analysts in day-to-day execution.
Review deliverables to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
3.

Client Engagement & Project Ownership

Work closely with clients to understand objectives, define KPIs, and deliver high-impact SEO solutions.
Support the Business Development team during pitches by contributing to strategy and projections.
Ensure smooth onboarding of new SEO clients and maintain ongoing communication.
4.

Technical SEO

Conduct detailed site audits and provide recommendations for site structure, crawlability, indexing, and performance (Core Web Vitals).
Troubleshoot issues related to canonicalization, redirects, site speed, and structured data.
Coordinate with developers to implement technical changes.
5.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
Generate monthly reports with actionable insights and communicate them to stakeholders and clients.
Recommend and prioritize improvements based on data analysis.

Requirements

Experience

4 5 years of proven SEO experience with hands-on strategy and execution.
Demonstrated success in driving growth through organic channels.
Exposure to mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Technical Skills

Strong technical SEO knowledge, including audits, crawl analysis, and Core Web Vitals.
Familiarity with programmatic SEO techniques for scalable content strategies.
Proficient with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.

Client & Communication Skills

Experience interacting with clients and translating SEO concepts into business value.
Ability to lead discussions, clarify expectations, and manage feedback loops.

Soft Skills

Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
