Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer (Quality) specializing in Manual, Automation, AI, and Cloud Testing, you will be an integral part of our Business Intelligence platform team within Data & Services. Your role will involve designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and databases. In addition, you will be responsible for validating application codebases, performing performance testing, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications. Your technical expertise in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, AI, and cloud-based application testing will be crucial in delivering high-impact results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (or equivalent) along with 6 to 8 years of experience in software testing, both manual and automation. Proficiency in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, and strong SQL skills are essential for this role. Experience with performance testing tools, cloud-based application testing, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven will be valuable assets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Your excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will enable you to effectively report bugs, suggest improvements, and align on quality goals with technical teams and stakeholders. Preferred qualifications for this role include exposure to AI/ML-based application testing, experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar, and knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
