Senior Software Engineer

The Autodesk Platform Services and Emerging Technologies team is seeking a passionate Sr Software Engineer to join their team in Pune. Reporting to a Sr Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on cloud services and web client components. As a part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities: - Engage in experimentation, learning, and professional growth - Utilize cutting-edge cloud technologies - Develop code that will have a wide-reaching impact - Mentor and be mentored by team members - Participate in key decision-making processes Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience - 5-8 years of professional experience in developing scalable, distributed applications - Experience working in a large distributed team with substantial responsibilities - Proficiency as a full-stack engineer in frontend and backend development - Strong skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS - Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture - Expertise in developing cloud-based API platforms or backend systems - Sound knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architectures - Experience working with Agile processes like SCRUM - Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others - Capability to create comprehensive design documents - Ability to foster consensus and alignment within and across teams - Strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications: - Experience collaborating on open source projects - Familiarity with Git or equivalent distributed revision control systems Join Autodesk and be a part of a culture that values diversity, belonging, and innovation.
