Job Title: Senior Service Engineer - Rice Color Sorter Machine

Department: After Sales & Service

Location: Bangalore (For pan India locations)

Reporting To: Engineering & Projects Head

Experience/qualifications

• Educational Background

  : Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience

  : Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with rice color sorter machines or similar high-tech industrial equipment, including field service.

• Technical Expertise

  : In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and optical systems in rice color sorter machines.

• Software Proficiency

  : Experience with machine control software and diagnostics tools for rice sorters.

Primarydutiesandresponsibilitiesincludebutare notlimited to:

• Installation & Commissioning

  : Lead the installation, calibration, and commissioning of rice color sorter machines at customer sites, ensuring smooth setup and optimized performance.

• Maintenance & Repair

  : Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency of machines. This includes both mechanical and electrical components.

• Technical Support

  : Offer remote and on-site support for customers, resolving technical issues and ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.

• Training

  : Train customer personnel on the operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of the rice color sorter machines.

• Upgrades & Modifications

  : Perform system upgrades and modifications as required to enhance machine performance and accommodate customer-specific needs.

• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

  : Use diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Documentation

  : Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and other necessary documentation for customers and internal use.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with the sales, projects, and R&D teams to ensure seamless delivery of service and support.

• Customer Relationship Management

  : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and gaining insights to improve future service offerings.

• Emergency Response

  : Respond to urgent technical issues, often requiring after-hours support and travel to customer sites.

• Travel

  : Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) for on-site customer support and installations.
