Job Description

SEO Manager

Role & responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify content gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices.

Technical SEO

  • Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues such as crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content, and page speed problems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement technical SEO enhancements, including schema markup, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt optimizations.
  • Optimize site architecture to improve crawlability and indexation.

On-Page Optimization

  • Optimize website content and metadata for target keywords, search intent, and user experience.
  • Work closely with content creators to integrate SEO best practices into new and existing content.
  • Manage internal linking, headers, meta tags, and structured data.

Off-Page SEO

  • Develop and execute a sustainable backlink acquisition and management strategy.
  • Monitor backlink profiles and disavow harmful links as necessary.
  • Conduct competitor backlink analysis to identify new opportunities.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to track and analyze SEO performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions.
  • Prepare and present actionable insights and regular reports to stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and manage ad campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Manage social media postings, assist in content planning, and support ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate effectively with design, development, and marketing teams.
  • Perform basic SEO content writing when needed.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar.
  • Strong skills in Google Analytics, Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML is a plus
