Senior (SDE3) DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Automation Design, implement, and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates . Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet . Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud services. Define and enforce disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. CI/CD & Deployment Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI . Implement containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift . Automate and optimize software deployment workflows . Monitoring, Security & Performance Optimization Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack). Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Implement IAM, encryption, secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). Troubleshoot and optimize networking, performance, and latency issues. Database & Backup Management Automate database backup, recovery, and replication processes. Manage SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RDS, Cosmos DB). Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and DevOps processes. Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure Automation . 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code . Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud services. Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates . Experience in Linux and Windows administration . CI/CD & Automation Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or equivalent . Strong scripting abilities ( Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby ). Advanced proficiency in Git version control and workflows . Monitoring, Security & Performance Expertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack). Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks . Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs, Proxies) . Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and lead DevOps initiatives . Preferred Qualifications Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) . Background in software development (Python, React) . Strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies .
