About the role

  • This is a HANDS-ON role with a passion for understanding problems & opportunities, envisioning solutions, designing & developing end-to-end automations with Blue Prism RPA platform. The position brings deep SME knowledge and proven delivery experience in the RPA domain.
  • The role is 70% focused on new projects and 30% on providing production support.

Education

  • A university (4-year) bachelors degree in computer science is a must-have.
  • Must have active Blue Prism Professional Developer certification.

Recruiting Team:

The recruiting team works on various security domains like Endpoint Security, Inventory Mgmt., IAM, Threats & Vulnerabilities Mgmt., Data & Analytics.

Prior Experience:

  • Must haves:
    • Must have a minimum experience of 5 years developing and deploying bot-based automations using latest version of the Blue Prism platform.
    • Must have a minimum experience of 3 years in automation development using Python, Java, SQL, JavaScript, bash, PowerShell.
    • Must have a minimum experience of 2 years performing Blue Prism administrative tasks like user management, scheduling, monitoring resources & capacity, resolving exceptions & issues, and moving packages across different environments.
    • Must have a minimum experience of 2 years in working with REST and SOAP APIs.
    • Must have the technological curiosity and skill to convert a business problem to a technical problem from an Automation perspective.
  • Nice to have:
    • Prior experience with AWS Services is a plus.
    • Prior experience with ITSM (Service Management, Ticketing) tools is a plus.
    • Prior experience as a consultant doing business analysis is a plus.
    • Prior experience with Power Automate, Power pages and Dataverse is a plus.
    • Prior experience in security domain and tools like Qualys, Kenna, CrowdStrike is a plus.
    • Prior experience with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
    • Prior experience in Gen AI, Agentic AI along with RPA is good to have.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day:
    • Work with the Product Owner and business leaders to analyze and understand the current state of the business processes, identify automation opportunities & the requirements for the TO-BE state.
    • Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process
    • Develop the TO-BE design that addresses the core needs adhering to the Blue Prism design principles & conventions.
      • Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements
      • Ensure the design is understandable, operable, maintainable, secure, performs under load, observable and is available.
    • Program the core bots using test-driven methodologies.
      • Program the core bots and integration touchpoints in support of end-to-end workflow.
      • Prepare test data for all phases of assurance (from unit testing to quality assurance to UAT)
      • Track issues, bugs and fix them in a timely fashion.
      • Ensure the enterprise change & release mgmt. methodologies are applied.
    • Perform administrative tasks like user management, scheduling, monitoring resources & capacity, resolving exceptions & issues, moving packages across different environments.
      • Monitor, refine & improve processes and workflows based on customer feedback.
  • Create and maintain automation related documentation like PDD, SDD, DFD
  • Be Innovative and create reusable solutions as Senior Solution Architect
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and author detailed stories & tasks, as required by the Product Owner & Scrum Master
