Senior Research Analyst - Indexing/ Fixed Income

• Index calculation and maintenance.
• Index research.
• Fixed income domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of fixed income mutual funds (or AIF, PMS, Insurance) products.
• Knowledge on passive investments.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing mutual funds.
• Fixed income market understanding yield levels, key trends, market preference, and market structure.
• Fluency with bond and index mathematics.
• Analytical inclination.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

Good to Have skills:

• Knowledge of coding languages.

Functional Responsibility/Domain Related:

• Index maintenance

  : Daily index computation, rebalancing, index criteria review.

• New Product development

  : Launch of innovative replicable indices for index funds/ETFs.

• Back-testing of Index strategies

• Establishing processes for new index computation and automation of processes.
