Senior Product Owner

As a Senior Product Owner on a contract basis in a hybrid work environment in Chennai, your primary responsibility will be to serve as an agile product owner, ensuring that our software development projects are aligned with customer needs and deliver maximum value while adhering to agile scrum methodologies. You will drive analysis, validation, and verification to determine the necessary data to support business needs, including its creation, reading, updating, and deletion, along with the associated quality criteria. Your role will involve leading the coordination of efforts with staff, vendors, and customers to understand business requirements and design data architecture, solutions, and processes. You will also support the definition of roadmaps and portfolios of change that reflect business strategy and performance objectives. Additionally, you will lead the development of processes, including models such as conceptual, logical, and physical, and deliver customized reports and recommendations to support ongoing business decisions and customer reporting requirements. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or area, along with a minimum of 7 years of work experience as a business analyst or project manager. Possessing Scrum Product Owner certification is preferred. You must demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through on actions, while also adapting flexibly to an ever-changing work environment. Effective communication of complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, across functional and technical departments is essential. Being able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, handling conflicting demands, prioritizing workloads, and effectively delegating tasks while maintaining high-quality standards is crucial for success in this role. Expertise in quickly grasping the functions and capabilities of new technologies, as well as strong stakeholder management skills to facilitate change delivery in a busy working environment with competing priorities, are also key requirements. Your high emotional intelligence and solid interpersonal and relationship building skills will be instrumental in establishing strong relationships with teams across the business.,
