We have an opening for one of our client for Senior PPC Engineer for Bangalore location. Total experience - 6 - 8 Years in PPC CTC - 8 - 9 LPA Location - Whitefield Senior Engineer Planning, Scheduling, SAP & Inventory Control Reports To: PPC Manager Supervises: Engineer and Assistant Engineer Key Responsibilities: A. Monthly/Weekly/Daily Planning: • Convert MPS into Weekly and Daily plans based on takt time, resource and downtime. • Load balancing across lines considering priority orders, rework and NPD. • Monitor adherence and adjust short-term plans with minimal disruption. B. MRP & Production Order Execution: • Execute weekly MRP and validate PR and Production Order output. • Resolve BOM errors, routing mismatches and pegging issues. • Ensure timely release, issuance and closure of production orders. C. SAP Power User & ERP Coordination: • Serve as PPC's SAP Power User handle master data, user training, testing. • Coordinate with SAP consultants for resolving bugs, process changes and enhancements. • Support documentation and audit trail creation for SAP transactions. • Communicate with IT/ERP teams for plant-specific dashboard requirements and real-time reporting. D. Plant Production Monitoring: • Monitor hourly/shift production against targets. • Identify and escalate resource constraints, breakdowns or raw material shortages. • Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance for daily execution. E. Inventory Control & Management: • Monitor inventory levels of RM, SFG, FG and ensure MRP reflects ground stock accurately. • Lead daily checks for SAP vs physical mismatch, create exception reports. • Coordinate with stores for inventory adjustments, FIFO compliance and lot traceability. • Drive reduction of aged/excess/slow-moving inventory through analysis and team coordination. • Participate in physical audit and implement daily cycle counting program. F. KPI Reporting: • Publish reports: Line-wise Plan vs Actual, Backlog, FG Status, Line Efficiency. • Present WRM deck to Manager and ensure SAP data hygiene. G. ECM & NPD Control: • Update BOM/Routing master post-ECN approval. • Conduct cut-off batch coordination and SAP implementation. • Participate in NPD planning trials and provide feedback for mass production readiness.
