Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis:Lead discovery sessions with clients to gather detailed business requirements for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes
Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation using Oracle EPM capabilities
Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise functional and technical design specifications
Solution Design & Architecture:Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient Oracle EPM solutions (eg, Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service - PBCS/EPBCS, Financial Consolidation and Close - FCCS, Narrative Reporting, Account Reconciliation - ARCS, profitability and Cost Management - PCMCS)
Develop technical specifications for integrations, data loads, and reporting requirements
Implementation & Configuration:Configure Oracle EPM applications based on approved design specifications, including dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, calculations, security, and reports
Develop and optimize financial reports and dashboards (eg, using Financial Reports, Smart View, Narrative Reporting)
Implement data integrations using Data Management, Data Integration, EPM Automate, or other relevant tools
Testing & Quality Assurance:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans (unit, system, integration, UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements and performs optimally
Identify, track, and resolve defects and issues throughout the project lifecycle
Training & Support:Provide user training and documentation to client teams, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption
Offer post-go-live support and troubleshooting, addressing client queries and issues promptly
Project Management & Leadership:Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables for assigned modules or workstreams
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior consultants
Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to clients and internal stakeholders
Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and effort estimations
Knowledge & Mentorship:Stay current with the latest Oracle EPM product releases, features, and best practices
Share knowledge and mentor junior team members
