Senior Oracle Application Technical Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Apps Technical Consultant to join our ERP team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 (preferably R12.2.x), excellent command over RICEW components, and a solid understanding of Oracle Fusion technical tools and web services.

The role requires team leadership, technical solutioning, and close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows) components across Oracle EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, HRMS, etc.
• Lead and manage a team of technical consultants, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and perform technical validation of deliverables.
• Collaborate with functional teams and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and test environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including MD070s, MD120s, AIM/OUM deliverables.
• Participate in technical design discussions, propose scalable and performant solutions.
• Integrate Oracle EBS with third-party applications using web services, SOA, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Support Oracle EBS upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
• Optional but desirable: Work on Oracle Fusion Middleware and Fusion SaaS technical components like BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, HCM Extracts, etc.

Experience:

Proficient in:

• PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML/BI Publisher, Workflow Builder, Unix Shell Scripting
• OAF (Oracle Application Framework) optional but desirable
• Hands-on experience with RICEW components across core modules (Finance, SCM, HRMS, etc.).
• Knowledge of Fusion technical tools: BI Publisher, HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI – an added advantage.
• Experience working with web services (SOAP/REST), SOA, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and customization standards in Oracle EBS.
• Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and provide consultative technical inputs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
