Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in network infrastructure, routing protocols, cloud networking, and automation technologies. The candidate should be a fast learner, capable of managing multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills. Job Requirements BS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent 510 years of relevant experience in network engineering Self-sufficient with the ability to grasp new technologies quickly Maintain awareness of current and emerging technologies Technical Expertise Core Networking: Thorough understanding of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, MP-BGP) TCP/IP, Multicast (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, GRE) DNS, DHCP, LAN switching Router/Switch architectures Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, SMTP, etc. Tools & Technologies: Wireshark and packet-level analysis Strong experience with multicast and real-time communication protocols Familiarity with network operating systems: IOS, IOS-XE, JunOS, EOS, F5/tmsh Cloud & Automation: Broader understanding of AWS and Azure networking concepts Scripting skills: Python, Perl, or other scripting languages Automation tools: Ansible, SaltStack Working knowledge of REST APIs, YAML, JSON Desirable Skills Optical networking and LAN switching Load balancers and wireless networks SAN (Storage Area Networks) NSX, Infoblox Linux systems administration Solid, intuitive understanding of WAN and LAN architectures Soft Skills Excellent oral and written communication Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders Strong time management and multitasking abilities
