Role & responsibilities Project Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule and coordinate day-to-day site activities to meet construction deadlines. Plan and direct construction or maintenance of structures, systems, and facilities. Study project specifications and drawings to determine suitable construction methods. Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare and submit budget estimates, cost-tracking sheets, and project progress reports. Maintain daily and weekly reports to track resource utilization and timelines. Inspect project sites regularly to monitor compliance with safety and building codes. Stakeholder & Contract Management: Interpret and explain plans, specifications, and contract terms to owners, staff, and contractors. Prepare contracts and negotiate changes with consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors. Confer with supervisory personnel, clients, contractors, or consultants to resolve execution issues. Construction Supervision: Direct and supervise construction workers, site engineers, and supervisors. Ensure quality workmanship, adherence to approved drawings, and construction standards. Investigate and resolve incidents, damages, or delays ensuring corrective actions are taken. Compliance & Safety: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with all statutory norms and regulations. Implement and monitor EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE at the site. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills. Sound technical knowledge in civil and structural works. Familiar with safety regulations, quality standards, and construction codes. Proficient in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, and other project tracking tools. Good communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities. Preferred candidate profile
