Job Description

Responsibilities:

Product Development:
Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and plans.
Lead the design, development, and testing of new cookware products and features.
Ensure products meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
Development & prove out of new product.
Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
Conduct product testing and analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.
Ensure products meet all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures.

Team Leadership:

Hire, train, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance and support to team members.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Project Control:

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and launch

Technical Expertise:

Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the cookware industry.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and manufacturability.

Skill Sets

New Product Development, Product Design, SAP and QMS etc.

Educational Background:

BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Equivalent.
