Senior Manager - Accounts

Role & responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and inventory accounting. Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards. Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, and tax) and ensure smooth audit processes. Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.). Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities for filings and assessments. Handle transfer pricing and international tax issues, if applicable. Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor manufacturing and operational costs and implement cost control measures. Work with the production and supply chain teams to analyze cost efficiency and optimize working capital. Conduct product costing and margin analysis for pricing strategies. Working Capital & Treasury Management: Monitor working capital cycles including inventory turnover, receivables, and payables. Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and utilization of credit facilities. Optimize fund utilization for raw material procurement and capacity planning. ERP & Systems: Maintain and improve financial systems (e.g. Tally). Drive automation and digitization in financial processes. Ensure proper documentation and process flows for audit readiness. Team Management & Stakeholder Communication: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build capabilities and ensure effective succession planning. Encourage cross-functional collaboration and maintain high ethical and professional standards. Liaise with senior leadership, supply chain, production teams. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial presentations for management and board review. Candidates with 4 - 7 years of experience after completing CA or CMA should apply.
