We are looking for an experienced

Senior Java Developer

to work on cutting-edge

media and OTT (Over-the-Top)

streaming platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global technology leader driving innovation in the

media and communications domain

Experience Required:

5+ Years

Role Overview:

As a

Senior Java Developer

, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend systems for media content ingestion, streaming APIs, metadata services, and user subscription management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend microservices using
Java 8+
and
Spring Boot

Build and integrate APIs for media streaming, content publishing, and user management

Optimize performance for high-volume OTT content delivery systems

Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions

Participate in architectural discussions and guide best practices

Manage deployments to cloud platforms and maintain secure backend infrastructure

Ensure code quality with robust testing, reviews, and CI/CD practices

Technical Skills Required:

Java 8+
, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC

RESTful API
development and microservices architecture

AWS / Azure / GCP
,
Docker
,
Kubernetes

RDBMS
(PostgreSQL/MySQL), Hibernate

CI/CD with
Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle

Experience with
multithreading, caching, and API performance tuning

Exposure to
OTT/Media platforms
is a
strong advantage

Preferred Experience:

Worked on media platforms with
content ingestion pipelines, video playback APIs, metadata systems

Integration with third-party content partners, subscription platforms, or DRM systems

Experience handling
high-concurrency user traffic
for live or on-demand streaming services

Agile/Scrum development experience
