Senior Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end interior design process for residential and/or commercial projects.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and project managers during the design and execution phases.
• Develop creative concepts, mood boards, material boards, space planning, and detailed design drawings.
• Specify and source furnishings, materials, lighting, and finishes, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.
• Supervise and guide a team of junior designers, consultants, and external vendors.
• Prepare and present client-facing design proposals and presentations.
• Ensure adherence to design standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the site execution team for quality assurance during implementation.
• Stay current with industry trends, sustainable practices, and emerging technologies in interior design.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design from a reputed institute.
• 10+ years of experience in interior design, preferably in real estate or design consultancy firms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential, commercial, or mixed-use interior projects.
• Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
