Job Description

Position: Senior Hardware Design Engineer Department: Design & Development Electronics SKILLS / COMPETENCIES NEEDED: 1. Power Electronic design- FETS, IGBTs, Transformer, Reed relay, sensors. 2. Must have Switched Mode Power Supply in the design aspects (SMPS) 3. EMI/EMC testing & troubleshooting. 4. Circuit level simulation (Proteus) 5. PCB design software (Proteus, Altium, OrCAD) 6. Analog & Digital signal Processing. 7. Digital control system. 8. Basic knowledge of Embedded systems 9. Time Management 10. Planning and Execution 11. Effective Communication 12. Good grasping power in adapting new techniques. 13. Creative & logical thinking KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Developing New Products as assigned by the Reporting Manager 2. Product development as per the ISO13485 & CE guidelines. 3. Focusing on new product development, design of hardware. 4. Executing Changes / modifications required in existing design as per requirements. 5. Working on , Prototype designing, Testing debugging of hardware & software related problems, Prepared SOP, Reports, BOM documentation. Solved all the hardware related issues, & Hand-over given to the production department for mass production. 6. Pilot manufacturing and managing full accountability of manufacturing set up, designing of testing jigs for production testing and calibration. 7. Selecting components for meeting specifications defined by project head. 8. Coordinating hardware & firmware development. 9. Testing prototypes, doing verification and validation. 10. Conducting study of Product standard. 11. Contributing towards cost deduction for manufacturing. 12. Documenting New/Existing Product design 13. Maintaining Design Inputs, reviewed or modified specifications and drawings & version history. 14. Coordinating product documentation with Regulatory, Production & Service departments. 15. Providing technical Support for Marketing, Purchase, Production and Service. 16. Monitoring and following up with different internal departments for step-by step activities including execution of projects. 17. Implementing automation techniques for mass production. 18. Timely reporting to Seniors about the progress of the development 19. Carrying out any other tasks assigned by Reporting Manager
