Position: Senior Engineer - Windows, Linux & DevOps Automation Relevant Experience: 9 Years+ Salary: Nego Location: Hyderabad/ Noida / Bangalore / Hybrid Roles & Responsibilities: Lead and Optimize Deployments: Drive the deployment of in-house and custom applications, ensuring seamless and automated processes. This includes architecting and implementing advanced deployment strategies. Kubernetes & Docker Mastery: Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters and Docker containerized environments. CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Architect, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate application delivery and ensure code quality. Automation Champion: Proactively identify and automate repetitive tasks across the infrastructure, development, and operational lifecycles. Code Review & Quality Assurance: Lead code reviews for infrastructure-as-code and deployment scripts, ensuring best practices, security, and performance. System Architecture & Troubleshooting: Collaborate closely with agile development teams to resolve complex architecture-related issues and provide expert guidance. Network & Security Focus: Implement and enforce strong network and security policies, ensuring the integrity and protection of our systems and data. This includes a deep understanding of OS security. System Administration & Monitoring: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software on Linux environments. Proactively monitor system configurations and application performance (including Oracle databases and Windows applications) to ensure data integrity and optimal operation. Disaster Recovery & Upgrades: Plan and execute new software releases and upgrades, and manage robust system backup/imaging and recovery strategies. Mentorship & Best Practices: Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior engineers and driving the adoption of industry best practices. Required Skill Sets: Extensive Linux Expertise (8+ years): Deep, hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems is essential. Kubernetes & Docker: Proven expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting applications within Kubernetes and Docker environments. CI/CD Tools: Strong experience with various CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.). Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience working in AWS environments , specifically supporting application deployments. Automation & Scripting: Expert-level proficiency in Shell scripting and other automation languages (e.g., Python, Ansible). Networking & Security: In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall configurations, and OS security policies . Application Deployment & Management: Proven track record of successful application deployments, including experience with performance monitoring for Windows applications and Oracle databases. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
